To a point, but it takes a skilled animancer to reach into the Paths of the Dead to take the recently transitioned locus of spirit back into the world, and enmesh them into a specially prepared vessel. That vessel can be the old body newly repaired, or a specially built one. All of this takes so much power that only the perversely rich can afford it, and it severs the spirit from the cycle. Also, other animancers can unmake/unbind the construct with much less power requirement, so they're fragile.
