Today's #FinishOrFrogAlong Q&A: What work in progress are you most excited about right now? Tell us about it. If you only have one WIP tell us about that one! If you have more than one - why is this one the most compelling right now? What makes it interesting or exciting for you? #Handspinning #knitting #crochet #weaving #quilting #sewing #embroidery #CrossStitch #FiberArts #FibreArts #crafting #TextileArts #FoFAQandA

@consumablejoy@wandering.shop does it count if I bought the yarn for a project but haven't started yet? šŸ˜‡ I found this [adorable cat-butt coaster pattern](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/peeking-cat-butt-coaster) and want to make coasters as holiday gifts for some of my cat-owned friends. So I dug through pics they have shared of their cats, and my treat for myself after finishing the Christmas mouse was a trip to [my local yarn shop](https://hillsboroughyarn.com/) to stock up on cotton yarn in appropriate colors. My BFF has a tabby striped black-and-gray cat, and I couldn't find an appropriate gradient yarn, so I'm going to try to hold two thinner strands together for the first time! Getting to actually *start* on them will be my reward for finishing my Totoro amigurumi... 😊 #FinishOrFrogAlong

  • I had problems deciding. I *want* to be most excited about my Imogen sweater but in reality I am most excited about spinning my Roost blended nest sets from Woodland Pixie. I got 3 - 1 medium and 2 large. I plan to spin the medium on Turkish spindles and chain ply. The large sets will be on the Starling and then plied together. I’m guessing these will become a hat with matching cowl. #handSpinning #fiberArts #FibreArts #FinishOrFrogAlong

@consumablejoy@wandering.shop oh... such a hard question! Contrary to the spirit of #FinishOrFrogAlong, I've added three WIPs to my pile this month... Oops... So I have quite a few to be getting on with. I'm most excited to work on the shawl with the wool I picked up during my recent travels. It's worsted weight and I've mostly worked with DK and below. It's multicolour and I usually work with plain colours. It's a written pattern and I usually work from charts. Loads of new to me things, so I'm excited!
