@jeffowski@mastodon.world I'm a rude weird asshole no matter how accommodating or masking I am so fuck the whole thing. I've been embracing my real self these past couple years and let me tell ya, it's been great snapping back after years of being nice in the face of stupidity I'm not mean because I'm autistic I'm "mean" because I no longer accommodate fools Edit cuz I'm the fool that write a proper sentence (I'm the only fool I'll accommodate lol)

@jeffowski@mastodon.world I'm sure both autistics and non-autistics find this person's stimming annoying. Like, shouldn't other people's stims be more distracting and annoying to autistic people?

@jeffowski@mastodon.world For them there are Acceptable ways of being autistic (trouble understanding sarcasm, being a little awkward) and UNACCEPTABLE ways of being autistic (inability to understand their instructions, acting like WE'RE the ones who know better right now). They see us as emotionally inferior, so they're willing to accomodate us in ways that maintain that superiority, but not in any other way

@jeffowski@mastodon.world Wow, you know what reminds me of? Every woman talking about every man. Every LGBTQ talking about every binary. Every POC talking about white people. The list goes on and on... I think something we've realized since the internet opened up the world is just how intolerant some people are of everyone else. And nobody is pointing out the fact that the vast majority of us are constantly going out of our way to accommodate a few people who are incapable of simply accepting other people's differences.

@jeffowski@mastodon.world God gave us the sentence "I care more about you than I care about your feelings" for a reason.
