@tao@mathstodon.xyz as a young developing researcher and prospective PhD candidate, the recent developments had somewhat started to worry me but this is a really encouraging initiative. I think it’s important that mathematicians have a say in how AI develops and how it is used in mathematics. Happy to see so many leading mathematicians coming together around this.
