@scandigonian My parents are so proud of me. They witnessed me fighting for them here, because they were too scared to fight the white racists in Canada. I took that role as family defender & I am born for this.

@scandigonian I fought against a racist hotel employer on behalf of my Mom, in 1985, at 10 years old. I went to her hotel manager & had a local news crew follow me as I confronted them on why they called my Mom a savage gook because she dropped one towel on floor & left it there until she finished cleaning a hotel room. I am not fucking built to be still/silent when injustices happen. Whether it's upon my family or other marginalized folks! Do the right thing is deeply ingrained in me.
