@jesse@social.jelliefrontier.net I've got to ask as I've not recently ran into this, did you backup your encryption keys on your homeserver and keep the recovery key?

@Elegantbeef@mastodon.gamedev.place I don’t have much issue with keeping my own sessions verified (anymore), but the reality is that many people don’t know how to manage their keys properly. So in larger rooms, you frequently encounter several users who either have unverified sessions or are constantly losing their keys and resetting their identities.
