Catching up on the coverage of Digger has reinforced my reaction right out of the movie. 2nd screen viewing & reels have hurt peoples attention span so much that they can’t seem to consume persistent long shots anymore. (1/2)

The layered storytelling choice paired with the camera not moving much, forces you to imagine the unspoken and unseen aspects of the plot, Nothing is spelt out and repeated as has become the norm, but everything is left to linger within you. All this paired with the subject matter of the plot seems to have brought the worst reactions. I'm sure when the movie does it gets OTT release, it will get panned again, because the exact reason it works in the theater, will fail it on the TV. (2/2)
