Put oil on your head and wash your face A sermon for Ash Wednesday, Bebruary 18, 2026 St. John's Episcopal Church, New City, New York But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret. Some of you have probably noticed that in a couple of minutes after hearing this from Jesus, we are all going to have ashes spread on our faces. https://drewkadel.wordpress.com/2026/02/17/put-oil-on-your-head-and-wash-your-face/
