@JugglingWithEggs@mstdn.social I used to be one of those who never got colds, despite working with the public - including unhoused folks who (through no fault of their own, I should hastily add!) had terrible personal hygiene. In hindsight I was pretty smug about it too, thinking it was due to healthy living. But karma and COVID saw to it I'd get every bug going due to reduced defences, so I now have more humility! Yes some lucky folks have stronger immune systems...but they shouldn't take that for granted.
