@2legged@mastodon.ie
Peaceful demonstrating and disagreement with the status quo, of all persuations, should not be an arrestable event.
Be it Palestine action or sadly, men in balaclavas on the South Coast
The key here is peaceful or even noisy... violence and you arrest for violence.... not the act of protesting
The act of protesting should never be an arrestable event

@PGBeattie@mastodonapp.uk @2legged@mastodon.ie you are arrested for showing support for a terrorist organisation. Strangely, if you held a sign up saying you support the IRA the police would leave you alone During the conflict known as the Troubles (roughly 1969 to 1998), the Provisional IRA was responsible for approximately 1,700 to 1,800 deaths. Palestine Action have killed no person

@PGBeattie@mastodonapp.uk @2legged@mastodon.ie but the state arresting you.. also decide what is and is not "violence"
