@ombialik@mastodon.world My place geologists are more into GoreTex or even plain rubber - less room for individual expression there. But, has it never occurred to you that those poor little stones may just want to stay where they are; slowly but progressively being grinded to sand, then laid out as sediment in some exotic place, and then later participate in the magic of subduction and even metamorphosis? Just thinking... 🤔
