Our May Repair Cafe is coming up! Come visit us at the Lorton Library. Doors open at 10:30, and we close to new repairs at 12:30pm. Knife sharpening closes at 12:00pm to allow time for cleanup. We'd love to see you there! Not sure what to bring? Here's some things we've diagnosed and repaired before: - Clothing - Household decor - Lighting fixtures - Cookware - Toys - Jewelry and many more! ** We are still looking for volunteers to make this event possible! ** Current needs include at least one of every role: Greeters, Childcare, Knife Sharpeners, Repair Experts, and even Repair Experts-in-Training. Check out the roles here: https://volunteernow.volunteerfairfax.org/custom/1427/opp_details/191239 If you don't want to make an account, you can DM this account, or email at anicski@proton.me to notify us of your interest. If you know someone who may be looking for volunteer opportunities, please send them our way! #RightToRepair #RepairCafe #PlasticFreeDMV #ZeroWaste #SolarPunkSunday #FairfaxCounty #Lorton #PrinceWilliam #Woodbridge #MountVernon #MtVernon #Burke #SpringfieldVA
