@mathowie@xoxo.zone Anecdotally, I think my bose in-ear headphones really hurt my hearing by using them around lawnmowers or chainsaws that can have bursts of much louder noise. The momentary peaks were extreme. I only use noise cancelling earbuds under protective ear muffs now when I'm working with tools.
