I really like the BSD userland compared with the tower of awful hacks (with a weird fandom) that the Linux one is
I don’t relish the lack of hardware support and associated extreme frustration
and packing up your shit and moving really feels more polite and more fragile than the dickheads slopping up the kernel deserve, though I understand the need for important systems

your server will probably do quite well on netbsd! hopefully moving to another system as a single point of failure won’t bite us in case the netbsd maintainers have a price too that isn’t at all sarcasm by the way, I am literally hoping they can’t be bought because structurally, moving to netbsd doesn’t fix what broke Linux, and FreeBSD, and OpenBSD, and countless other projects
