I was raised as a Missouri synod lutheran. Very conservative. I say raised. I’m not active in the church anymore for obvious reasons. I actually read the bible. And didn’t want to be any part of those hypocritical chucklefucks. I know you are joking. But I think we can all rest more comfortably knowing that if there’s a hell this dumbass is in it.

Jesus isn’t just a God of redemption, he’s a God of infinite punishment and never-ending vengeance. And Hastert can absolutely accept Jesus and get a ticket to ride. The Holocaust Jews on the other hand, not so lucky. When I realized that all those Jews went straight from Hitler’s oven into Jesus’ oven, it permanently damaged my faith.
