I dont really know much (or care) about Brazilian politics, but i was under the impression that Lula was a corrupt leftist and Bolsonaro Jr was the son of a corrupt rightist.
Two things ive observed:
-I havent seen a single mainstream publication even mention Lula was in prison and barely any mention of Bolsonaro Sr currently being in prison
- doesnt extending the voting deadline randomly just reek of shenanigans?

I am not a fan of this fact of course, but whenever I try to take an unbiased normie view of happenings, whenever i'm trying to analyse events from the perspective of the Guy Who Just Started Paying Attention, I fall on the side of the rightoid opinion. I cannot stand conservatism, but it seems pretty immutable at this point that reality does indeed have a right wing bias.
