Ughhh I CANNOT get over the fact that every single teacher and every single guest speaker in my class this entire eight weeks has recommended, nay, insisted, that we use AI. Every. Single. One. I don't understand how you can be a practicing Buddhist and believe that using #AI is OK. Are you a #Buddhist who thinks using AI is OK? It's no longer fun Google. Talk to me. I don't think you'll convince me, but I want to try to understand your rationale. My rationale, just for your information is: I believe AI use is environmentally unsound and ultimately unsustainable; hyperscale data centers are going to destroy the Earth and are already bullying and decimating smaller, poorer communities; and AI use is also destroying human minds and human creativity. I think championing human ingenuity and creativity and championing taking care of our planet and our people are essential to being an ethical and engaged person. You?
