@joyce@hcommons.social @Susan60@aus.social @davidtheeviloverlord@mastodon.social @jik@federate.social I, for one, share the blame with YOU, Joyce, for, alas, I am also a Boomer of modest means.

@joyce@hcommons.social @Susan60@aus.social @davidtheeviloverlord@mastodon.social @jik@federate.social Frankly, I’m sick of this bs blaming the boomers. They act like we had no struggles. I had a house foreclosed on in the 80s. I worked three jobs from the time I was 17 till I was 21 then I got a union job. I worked my union job and sold real estate on the side. They can sit around and whine or organize unions and join them.

@joyce@hcommons.social @Susan60@aus.social @davidtheeviloverlord@mastodon.social @jik@federate.social I have to say I am better off than my parents were. I decided when I was 17, living on carnation instant breakfast, peanut butter n jelly in an apartment that cost me $60 a mo in 74, still in HS, that I would never have to go through that again. I always worked two jobs, sometimes three jobs. Had a Plan B.Our children started working when they were 15 cuz they were taught a good work ethic.

@joyce@hcommons.social @Susan60@aus.social @davidtheeviloverlord@mastodon.social @jik@federate.social Are you the kind of radical boomer woman that think that "ACAB" should not be used, because "not all cops...", and that tend to reply when arguing with radical feminists "not all men..." ?
