@CanvasesByPeter@mementomori.social Debatable when "this is a normal country"-practices with its societal greases turns from true to self-deception, and from there to deception of outsiders. (In other words: did the PR-team think they're writing it from "normal country"-pov, wishing they were "a normal country", or knowing that they're an apartheid society practicing genocide, trying to manufacture consent?) In whatever case, this is pedantry, as to quote Bill Hicks: if you're in marketing - kill yourself.

@iju@mastodon.social You seem to be saying "its how it is and we should accept it", which isn't my thing, I'm not one to be complicit. Wrongs need to be fixed in the world, that's a univeral constant, because if they're not, they get far FAR worse (take israel and the US for proof of these). Faking alliances and "love for israel" is a well used tactic by israel, it's always a lie, not a "pleasantry". You're welcome to your opinion but I'll keep exposing israel's blatant lies to as many people as I can. The more people who know what they're doing, the better equiped the world will be to cutting them off. Public pressure mounts, and when it get to a certain point not even complicit governments (like here in Australia) can ignore it anymore. The more people who are educated about these things the better, and 'getting the word out' is the bare-minimum anyone can do to fight fascism and genocide.
