I was nervous about the phone interview (no video) for my first job, so I took a shower before it started. But we were in different time zones, so the call came an hour sooner than I expected. I did the interview with a towel wrapped around me. I got the job. At my most recent job, I asked my boss why the company insisted we show up 3 times a week. It was basically to justify the cost of putting the buildings there, maybe some kind of tax benefits. She called it "funny money". I quit my job.
