What is not proposed by PM Carney:
Not to become a third power just with better mannersDo not seek power to dominate othersResilience so no one can control our sovereign markets, our freedoms, democracy, or rule of law
But to create the next stable, just, and fair world order and reinforce international law.

Carney circles back to the Battle of Vimy Ridge and the oak acorns. "Let us now deepen those roots, widen this canopy and grow a transatlantic forest under which our citizens flourish as free people on free ground every single day." A historic speech and something we'll be talking about in the history books. Carney may not always get it right, but this is absolutely right and at the exact right time.
