When I’m deciding whether or not to read a book by a new-to-me author, I always look at the bad reviews. Good reviews don’t tell me what I want to know. Bad reviews, though… I just looked up a book. It’s got a 1-star review that says, “Looked cool, interesting story, and definitely something I would read. But again, content. Language: d*mn, b*tch, h*ll, probably more. Mention of people liking people of the same gender.”
