@mav I use #VivaldiBrowser. It's from a nice team of people. But I still get some comments about it being chromium based. So here is the wishlist: made in Europe, with no tech from GAFAM and stripped from AI. Any suggestions?

@mjlmo @mav Depending on how strict you are with ”no tech from GAFAM”, that might be extremely difficult for any software at all.

There's Blink (Google), WebKit (Apple), and Gecko (Mozilla). The first two are GAFAM, and Mozilla is currently shitting the bed by going full AI. However: in the future, Servo might be exactly what you're looking for. It's an entirely new browser engine developed by the Linux Foundation Europe. https://servo.org/ Just give them another few years 🤞
