@thisislieven@c.im whilst I agree with some of your points I don't agree with the conclusion. When we get far enough the UK will need to negotiate entry terms with the EU. That will be, ahem, interesting.

@grassrootsforeurope@mas.to I am not sure what you mean with my conclusion exactly. The 'not a forever no'? Honestly, based on the current crop of leaders I see it as a) virtually impossible the UK would agree to a reasonable agreement for rejoining and b) the EU will be all too happy to give in too much even though it still won't be enough. That will be interesting to see indeed. But who knows what kind of leaders we have in a few years?

@grassrootsforeurope@mas.to @thisislieven@c.im Not agreeing with the conclusion somehow means you two are on the same page about the conclusion :) The Rejoin debate on the UK side is focused on what the UK people lost with Brexit and how to get those benefits back. Little or nothing is said on what the EU would gain from Rejoin. This is not different from the spirit that the UK showed before Brexit: enjoy common market and freedom of movement, reject Schengen, the Euro and common policies.
