@iris@neuromatch.social i actually quite like the smell of coffee but I can't handle the taste. I'm very sensitive to some bitter tastes like coffee, certain batches of carrots (depends on growing conditions, organic ones seem less likely to trigger it but are not a 100% safe bet), many green vegetables, etc.

@iris@neuromatch.social even a fraction of a percent of coffee in a pastry or something is enough to make it completely inedible to me, although it's not nearly as offensive as a mouthful of the full strength stuff
