But if any of them were president today instead of the orange shitgibbon, a) We'd still have a decent, if still inadequate, climate change policy, b) Public health and medical research wouldn't have been cut to ribbons, with resulting record surges of measles and cyclospora, and c) My transgender friends wouldn't be in terror for their lives (one has already fled the U.S.). Personally, I'd prefer to live in that timeline.
