The Maine ICE victim has been identified as a 26-year-old Colombian man. Preliminary reports are that he had a Social Security number and was authorized to work in the U.S.

The video emerging so far in the Maine ICE shooting is disturbing. ICE agents in no apparent danger. The body of the clearly dead victim pulled from the car and (apparently) handcuffed. Difficult to process.

Homeland Security says that in the Maine shooting ICE was "fearing for public safety" and that after "an officer discharged his weapon" the "driver of the vehicle was struck" and "passed away." A remarkably passive way to describe a public execution.

The Maine ICE victim has been identified as 26-year-old Joan Sebastian Guerrero. He leaves behind a wife and young daughter. Reports vary on whether his wife or daughter was present at the time of the shooting.
