@melindrea@beige.party @juergen_hubert@mementomori.social I think to determine that one has to think about fey society. They may not have the same roles as humans do, i.e. do they need peasants? Do they need craftspeople? Do they need warriors? And then you can pick something that would be mundane to the fey but it could still be something special for a human(-raised)?

I know her twin is something in the hunter/warrior line, and the main plot she's being pulled into is one inspired by a legend I remember reading many years ago, where the son of the mountain king (trolls) is getting married, so all the maiden trolls are fighting over him. I'm not sure entirely how this spills over to her (her fey family are probably in the vättar/vittror line, one translation for a similar type of being is "the small ones underground", who were believed to live close to humans), but it makes sense that if there's a fight among the trolls, that it also affects the other types of what my grandfather called "småty" (little things) and that's more generally in Swedish called oknytt (dangerous/spooky/supernatural) ... can you tell another issue I'm running into is how to translate some of the words that doesn't have more exact meaning? <.<
