Does anyone have advice on moving to someplace far from where you live in, but in the same country? I imagine I'll probably get more feedback from Americans here since my situation is a relatable parallel - I plan on moving out of my nightmarishly dangerous and reactionary state (which I personally consider to be my country's equivalent of Florida) to another state that's safer and less reactionary, but the logistics and implications have me really worried. Like, I obviously need to book a flight there months in advance, but would I have to contact places for rent close to my flight day and hope I can find any good deals in advance (and run the risk of there being no deals in the city I fly to)? Or is it a common practice to strike a rent deal even months in advance (and risk falling for a scam or the place actually being worse than advertised)? Boosts okay and encouraged, thanks!
