#selfhosting enlighten me, how do I secure, and I mean THOROUGHLY secure, a public facing service (say forgejo/ntfy/matrix homeserver) etc properly, so that I can actually expose them to the public internet and inbound connections? I am not yet hosting such services, mostly because I'm worried I'll badly mess up somewhere BUT I really, really want to do it and do it well, all the kubernetes, containers, VM and orchestration talk sounds really nice!
