I don't quite understand Animal Crossing. I'm not saying the game is bad, or wrong. I just don't personally comprehend it. I don't want to play in a world where I have to resort to collecting seashells to pay off a mortgage from a predatory lender. On top of that, there is an island full of villagers I'm expected to interact with regularly? Nope. No thanks. As far as my brain is concerned, that sounds less like cosy fun and more like stress.
