electric motors have fuck all to go wrong.
Tesla motors are infamous for burning out rotor bearings, coolant leaks and leaking coolant into electronics.

Infamous compared to what? I’m no fan of Tesla but electric motors are a LOT more reliable than IC motors. Note that this is not the same as saying Tesla’s cars are reliable..
