@Manigarm@mastodon.social that sounds like "guns don't kill" It's odd how in a different context, this classic STS argument can sound misguided and in others, it sounds right. I think a more nuanced perspective, like Lucy Suchman argues for where the machine and the human are reconstituted as a whole, better adresses the context of AI/guns with people. The subject/object binary is easy to twist and can lack sustainable internal validity.
