You are all invited to the launch of my new book Train Europe, a colourful collection of 20 great rail itineraries across the continent.
It's at 6pm on Thursday 1 October 2026 at Readings Emporium, on Level 1 of Emporium Melbourne, 287 Lonsdale St, Melbourne CBD.
It's free to attend, but please register via this link: https://www.readings.com.au/events/train-europe-by-tim-richards
Readings requires at least 20 people to register for the event to proceed, so please sign up and come along! Would be great to see you there.

@timrichards@aus.social @bookstodon@a.gup.pe Can't go to Melbourne, unfortunately. It's a bit of a walk from Scotland and there is no direct train! But I am looking forward to the book. I had planned to do a rail holiday around the continent but it was scuppered by the pandemic, and I'm hoping to do it next year, so this will be really handy. All the best with the launch!

@timrichards@aus.social Oh, I can't make this because I live in Perth, but it sounds so great!
