Hello everyone, While I usually prefer to focus on my work, the seriousness of recent claims circulating about me in parts of the professional accessibility and open-web community makes it necessary to respond clearly. I am aware of statements by certain individuals alleging that I am a “transphobic, misogynistic bully.” That claim is categorically false. I want to be absolutely clear: I have never engaged in transphobic, misogynistic, or discriminatory behavior of any kind. I find these rumors deeply upsetting and entirely contrary to everything I stand for. My public and written record as a civil-rights author and advocate demonstrates the opposite. Unfortunately, these false claims have been repeated without evidence and have harmed my professional reputation.
