The silent power of simplicity: I recently switched from #emacs Prelude to Emacs Bedrock and from #zsh with oh-my-zsh to #fish. This setup is a breath of fresh air for me where I feel I am now in control over my tools versus being ever so slightly overwhelmed by the myriad of options. fish is really, really good and is indeed a "friendly interactive shell" full of sensible defaults. https://fishshell.com
