Thanks for saying hi! ✨ I've mostly been putting my writing time into personal projects of late, just trying to get my legs back under me after such a long time away. I'm definitely still feeling rusty, and I can see lots of areas where I need to grow--writing with your friends in your 20s is relatively more forgiving than writing novels, if you hope for someone to read them 😉 But contemporary fiction--mostly romance--is my genre, so I'm happy to hear from you! I'd love to hear about what you're working on, if you're willing to share!

@cari@sunny.garden I’ll start with a shameless plug for my most recent book, The Challenges of Being Me. Lauren is about to graduate from college, but truly has no idea who she really is. She followed the same playbook her older sister and parents did. Attend the same college. Check. Step two, find someone freshman year and fall madly in love. Nope. Step 3, get married to that person. Nope. Step 4, start a family. She always tries to keep up appearances & being there for others. But what about her wants?
