@arichtman@eigenmagic.net Tried this, but PeerTube's proxy config applies to all outbound traffic when it was tried (breaking federation) rather than just YouTube requests. Do you know of a way to route only specific destinations through a proxy while keeping federation traffic direct?

@techlore@social.lol hmmm I think you'd have to get down and dirty to IPs and routing tables for that. Cause once the traffic is sent to the proxy server it's too late to do anything layer 7 based (unless we did some wonky hairpin proxy hop).
