holy shit am i bad at flashing embedded systems. i don't know how i got away with this, but i basically "task failed successfully"-ed my dhcp server into a fucked up version of debian 13 the sd card booted fine into armbian, it said it copied everything to the emmc, then dropped me into an initramfs shell now i do not recommend this at all but running dd from the sd card to the emmc and then yanking the power after a few minutes appears to have solved all my problems so yeah i don't know if it'll ever boot from the sd card again, but that's tomorrow's problem maybe some day i'll learn u-boot and write my own firmware i want to be mad, at myself or the computer or whoever wrote the install script, but everything just kinda cancelled each other out? weekend project completed early i guess
