@GNUmatic@mastodon.trueten.de That's debatable in my opinion. In our current system? Yeah, it is but there will always be some kind of debt. What do I mean by that? Well, in the morning you wake up and you already have to pay a 'debt'. By which I mean that you have to find food(= you have to work) for enough calories. That's a debt of your own and life is about paying this debt to yourself. Every day, yesterday and tomorrow but our modern societies overshadow this eternal rule of LIFE..

@wackJackle@norden.social That's stretching *their* definition of debt too far. And it's not the way this economy works for those who own it all instead of being deeply in debt the moment they wake up each morning like - say - everybody else they exploit by this very debt they're so keen on maintaining.
