@bartgroothuis@mastodon.online Most people are non-developers. Forking is just not realistic. Also, sneering that "anyone who wants an anti-AI project" can just leave is more than a little dishonest. This issue primarily affects people who just want to avoid using software that is at risk from AI-slop. Luckily FreeBSD has always been quite a decent OS, is widely used, and is probably better geared towards enterprise use.
