@hazelnot@sunbeam.city moneda means "coin" in Spanish. "La Moneda" is the name of the Chilean presidential palace. I don't recall where the name comes from right now...

@hazelnot@sunbeam.city I checked, when it was built during the times of the Spanish colony, it was inaugurated as a coin mint. It was in 1842 where it was repurposed as the presidential palace. I had heard something like this before, but wasn't sure
