@snugglybun@void.lgbt Hugs are always appreciated. Yeah, very much same. That’s why I propose we learn from the past and still work toward a better future with that knowledge. Some things were better then, many things are better now. Why not take the best of what we had, and combine it with the best we have now. I don’t want the past back, I just want to use the few good things we had to understand what a better future could look like ^^

@siblingsofthevoid@void.lgbt tbh i do love this approach a lot better.. like reintegrate the decentralized, autonomous, anit-corporate feel and stance of the older web, with a contemporany anarchist, anti-fascist and inclusive viewpoint (i mean yeah, anarchist and leftist communities and etc we're defintiively a thing since more than a century, and anti-fascist and anti-racist communities we're def there in the older web... it's more like, talking about the whole thing in a more general stance ig) some of the indie web communities i've saw, and even been on a while back, embrace that kind of philosophy.. like yeah the present fucking sucks, but let's not worship the past either.. instead just make something out of the best of the two, while addressing and fighting back against the more bleh parts too.
