Good morning! Our parent nonprofit, Five Borough Fedi Project (5BFP), has just published its first annual transparency report: https://5bfp.org/annual_reports/2024/
This report summarizes the organization's activity during 2024, including its income and expenditures. It concludes with some plans and expectations about the year ahead for 5BFP and Masto.NYC.
Summary of summary: 5BFP was founded! Masto.NYC migrated to the cloud! And we're OK on cash for the immediate future, but there's longer-term work to do.

On that note, it's time to remind you, dear neighbor, that Masto.NYC runs entirely upon the generosity of its own users. As you rethink and rebalance the organizations and causes that you support in 2025, we hope that you'll keep Masto.NYC in mind. If you love Masto.NYC, and you can afford to donate, please consider making a tax-deductible donation: http://masto.nyc/give Setting up a monthly donation helps the most, but we gratefully receive one-time gifts of any size, as well. It all helps.
