@g7kse@mastodon.radio the best thing you can do to keep obsolescence out of your life is to never run discs, never run hydraulics. Pretty much anything 1975-2005 can be made to work, somehow. It's going to be rolling windows of five years of compatibility from 2010 out to forever.

@alrs@lsngl.us you're so right. I love my Sonder, its a lovely bike to ride. But I don't like having to faff around with things because its really old apparently (5 years old) and stuff is hard to get.
