I was also thinking, as a butt owner and operator, what my preferred size for my own butt is.
I am 188cm tall and broad boned, so I usually drive an XL or an L. I've had an M once or twice in the last few decades, however, and I can't say I recommend it. I found it painful to sit for any period of time on my bony, medium-sized butt. Even a few minutes on an unpadded chair sucked.

On the other side of my experience spectrum, carrying an XL is a real responsibility. You have a constant chance of bumping people or knocking things over behind you if you turn too fast. I'm just not sure I have the skills and agility to pilot a big rig all day long.

@evan@cosocial.ca Interesting. I'm still using BMI. My immediate goal is to get back under 30. But maybe I should shift to your metric.
