The last time I posted here I got yelled at for daring to even mention the existence of Bluesky, so please feel free to just scroll on past if you don't want to read my updated thoughts on Twitter migration - which, spoiler, includes some research findings about barriers to widespread adoption of Mastodon. https://theconversation.com/bluesky-isnt-the-new-twitter-but-its-resemblance-to-the-old-one-is-drawing-millions-of-new-users-244019

@cfiesler Bah. If folks on Mastodon are yelling at other users about talking about Bluesky, they're demonstrating why someone might prefer Bluesky.

@cfiesler I think a lot of us are on bluesky too. The two places are different, and I get different things out of each, but they're both useful.

@cfiesler Thank you for posting this. You could have titled it, "De Confusione Linguarum!" "And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do; and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech."
