@Remittancegirl@mstdn.social It is absolutely a play for weakening government power in Alberta. It's people who want to pay less for the oil, pollute more while extracting it, and contribute less to hospitals, schools, and roads.

@drgroftehauge@sigmoid.social @Remittancegirl@mstdn.social And they've somehow managed to convince a not insignificant portion of the population that it's in our best interests too. This is for the benefit of a few, rather than the whole province.
