@ClimateJenny@biodiversity.social in 2001 someone left me a fern. I forgot to water it and dried off. Someone else told me to keep watering, it might come back the next year, so I did. Instead I got a morning glory, and since I was living in a 8th floor with the windows mostly closed, and the seed is round and doesn't fly, I'm pretty sure it was in the pot's earth. Now I'm getting a plant I think is a morning glory (similar leaf and stems, no flowers yes) in a pot that has had all kinds of plants, most dried up.
