ok so emmanuel im imagining a lot of not-so-subtextual anger or malice in jesus's delivery of the line about "lord forgive them for they know not what they do". if you weren't jesus, you'd be cussing somebody out, so really spit the line. but kindly. like a snake with gifts between its lips watching every sparrow.
